‘Inspired’ by Barack Obama

South Indian actor and politician, Vijaykant, on Monday (June 23) said that he wants to do an Barack Obama in India by reforming Tamil Nadu’s politics from the alternating rule of the Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam (DMK) and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK).

Citing his example, Vijaykant, said that if Barack Obama can be America’s first black president, than he too can set an example by bringing about the required change in the state of Tamil Nadu. Barack Obama is a US Senator for the State of Illinois in US and a Democratic Party candidate for 2008 US presidential election.
